Social Responsibility in business also known as Corporate Social Responsibility, pertains to people and organising behaving and conducting business ethically and with sensitivity towards social, economic, cultural and economic issues. Thus, every individual and business have a duty to act in the best interest of their environment and society as a whole.
Hariyana Tractors has always believed in giving back to the society in whatever way possible. It has never shied away from its responsibility towards the environment and people around it. Some of its day to day contribution are:
- Free medical treatment to poor and helpless people.
- Free education in rural areas with free books and stationary
- Distribution of energy water during summer days throughout the day
- Plantation of trees and plants across the year
- Minimal use of plastics and other non-biodegradable products
- Re-use of materials so that there is minimum wastage
